Lakeside Recreation Center is proud to announce the continuation of its partnership with Storm Bowling for the July 2026 Team Tournament.

This exciting collaboration reinforces our commitment to promoting the sport of bowling and enhancing the competitive experience within our community. 
Under the leadership of Tournament Director Brian Prestopic, Lakeside has quickly established itself as a premier tournament destination in Northern Illinois. 

Brian’s dedication and expertise have helped shape a diverse tournament schedule that welcomes bowlers of all skill levels. Our ongoing partnership with Storm Bowling
will further elevate the competitive landscape at Lakeside. We extend our sincere appreciation to Gary Hulsenberg (VP of Marketing), Leanne Hulsenberg (Tournament and Events Manager), 
and Andy Shutt (Regional Sales Manager) for their invaluable support in making this collaboration a continued success.

 
Tournament Details:
This competitive event is open to all USBC-certified bowlers. Teams can be composed of all men, all women, or a mix of both—giving participants the flexibility to compete in their preferred lineup.
With a 1:5 cash ratio and a handicap of 90% of Team 900, every team has an opportunity to contend for top prizes. Plus, there’s no average limit—so bring your best game!
 
Squad Dates & Entry Fee:
Squads will be held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, starting July 10, 2026, and culminating in the Grand Finale on Saturday, August 1, 2026.
The entry fee is $120 per team, which includes $40 for lineage/expenses and $80 for the prize fund.
 
Additional Tournament Features:
To keep the competition engaging throughout the summer, we will also offer side pots, brackets, and a special “Play the Field” tournament-long bracket.
